My daughters and I went to see the movie yesterday, an early birthday celebration. To say that I enjoyed it is an understatement. I was deeply, profoundly moved. There were so many amazing moments, so many meaningful quotes..truly a life-altering experience.
Today is my 46th birthday and, like always, I will choose to honor today as my own personal New Year. There's much I'd like to accomplish over the coming year, changes I want to make and dreams to fulfill...I've decided that the title of Ms. Gilbert's book is the perfect theme for this, my 47th year on the planet..
PRAY...and trust in the answers
LOVE...with wild abandon
Sounds like it's going to be one amazing year! Off to get started..
Blessings,

How nice to wake up to this post. I had already planned to see this with my daughters this afternoon. :)
I've already wished you a happy birthday... but Happy Personal New Years, as well. I know you will make the most of the year ahead.
Oh man,you get the movie already???? I LOVED the book,so much of it resonated with me plus of course part of it was in my motherland.I can't wait for the movie though I really hope it does the book justice.x
Happy Birthday! Glad to hear you enjoyed the movie, I am reading the book right now and am really enjoying it as well...it is not everyones cup of tea from what I hear, but for me I am reading between the lines and finding my own path through it, and I think that is the point!
A dear friend of mine introduced me to EPL a few months ago. I read it voraciously and it is now on my "must re-read at least once a year" list. I look forward to the movie, but have not yet seen it.
I'm so excited to see someone else who got as much out of it as I did!
Thank you, my dear Aisling, for both of your greetings! xoxoxo
Galah, you are going to love the movie! It was different from the book, yes, but the spirit is the same. xoxoxo
Ruby, absolutely! :)
Kelshei, I love the idea of reading it yearly..perhaps around one's birthday? :)
